Community projects and workshops

“Longford’ the life sized horse sculpture, created by Sue and quadriplegic former stockman Tom, is a great example of an artist working with members of the community to raise awareness for a  cause and enrich the community. Since Longford she has been involved in many community art projects.

Sue thoroughly enjoys working with a community to produce an iconic public art sculpture from vintage metal sourced in the area. Community involvement builds a sense of ownership and connection, and enhances community pride.

Through these projects, Sue has now  left her mark on communities across Queensland by creating Public Artwork Sculptures which will endure for generations.   Visit Sue’s Qld Art Trail map HERE to follow  her journey.

Funding for projects like this can be gained through the Regional Arts Development Fund and other sources. Click HERE and HERE to see why Sue is an ideal artist for these types of projects.
